Surrogacy program
In our clinic we perform surrogacy for two main reasons:
- the uterus or/and endometrium is inoperable or injured, or no uterus is present;
- pregnancy is contra-indicated because of severe diseases of other organs (heart, kidney disorders, uncompensated diabetes, severe Rhesus factor immunization).
We do not perform surrogacy for social reason (busy lifestyle or etc.).
Surrogate maternity raises many issues and concerns associated with a participation of the third party (surrogate mother) in the treatment. These issues can include handing over the carried child, the parents' attitude to the child, and the parents' attitude to the surrogate mother.
Relations, rights and liabilities of the parties shall be legally determined before treatment starts.
