How do I find a surrogate mother?

The shortest way for a couple to enter surrogacy program in our clinic is to come together with a person willing to participate in your surrogacy project as a surrogate mother. The best candidate might be a family member or a friend of reproductive age, having children of her own.

Finding a surrogate is not an easy task. If there is no other possibility we can provide help here that includes:

1. Organization of the surrogate “bank”, consisting of the persons commercially interested in being surrogate mothers.
2. Recommending the lawyer specializing in surrogacy.
3. Providing the lawyer with the contacts of candidates from our surrogacy bank.

Surrogacy bank.

Surrogacy bank is formed of healthy women in the age of 20-35, having their own children, as recommended by ESHRE and ASRME and required by Legislation in Russia. They have good chances for pregnancy onset and mostly commercially interested in accomplishing surrogacy project.

All the candidates from the bank have successfully passed through detailed common interview, physician, psychiatrist and gynecologist, as well as laboratory  investigation (as required by Decree of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation):

1.      HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C status;

2.      Chlamidia, Herpes, Ureaplasma, Mycoplasma, CMV, Rubella;

3.      Urine test;

4.      Common blood count (Haemoglobin, RBC, WBC…);

5.      Coagulogramm;

6.      Liver and kidney blood values;

7.      X-Ray lungs;

8.      ECG;

9.      PAP smear (cervix cytology test).

To be able to make legal agreement with a person from our surrogacy bank, please plan your visit to St. Petersburg for no less than 4 working days. During this period the following steps may be accomplished:

1. Appointment in the clinic.
2. Appointment with the lawyer.
3. Meeting 2 surrogates from the bank of the clinic organized by the lawyer. This step is aimed at choosing a person that will be later participating in your surrogacy project as a surrogate.
4. Formulating and signing an agreement with a surrogate.
5. Second appointment in the clinic to plan the treatment.

For using the bank of the clinic a fee is collected only in case an agreement was signed and the treatment process starts.
