After embryo transfer
After the embryo is transferred into the uterus, progesterone and estrogens are used to support the implantation. This is also called luteal phase support.
The first pregnancy test is made two weeks after the transfer. However at this stage the further pregnancy process can not be predicted. Patients should avoid physiacal and mental stress. Despite all psychological stress, the most important thing is to stay calm. No considerable changes in one's professional or individual schedule should be made.
The pregnancy process is monitored by your doctor till the 7-8 pregnancy week, provide help if it is necessary. In our clinic we provide supervision and support of pregnancy resulting from IVF treatment. We provide non-invasive and invasive prenatal diagnostics. Pregnancy supervision, delivery and pediatric assistance are available in the AVA network at Scandinavia clinic.
The pregnancy process supervision is of great importance.
