Maria Kovalchuk, MD, PhD
1993 - graduated from the Pavlov First Medical Institute, St.Petersburg.
1993 - 1995 residency in obstetrics and gynecology, Pavlov First Medical Institute, St.Petersburg.
1995 - 1999 postgraduate studies at the laboratory of fetus physiology and physiopathology (the D.O. Ott Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology RAMS).
PhD Thesis: “Development of the Central Nervous System of a Fetus during Relative Insulin Deficiency in the Mother”.
2000 - 2004 combined teaching at the obstetrics and gynecology department of the St.-Petersburg State
Since 2004 Ms. Kovalchuk has been working as a doctor of ultrasound diagnostics for fetus development in the “AVA-PETER” and “Scandinavia” clinics.
