Vladimir Lebedev, MD, PhD
A graduate of the Chelyabinsk State Medical Institute (1982)
In 1992, Dr. Lebedev defended a thesis on “Optimization of Methods for Getting Fetal Material in the first Pregnancy Trimester for Prenatal Diagnostics of Hereditary Diseases”
Published 30 research works in the Russian and foreign periodical press.
Lecturer in the Baltic School of Perinatal Medicine and the Donald international school of ultrasound diagnostics in obstetrics and gynecology.
Since 2002 he has been working in AVA-PETER.
In 2003 Mr. Lebedev took international courses on 3D/4D ultrasound diagnostics in Vienna.
He is the secretary of the Saint-Petersburg association of specialists in ultrasound diagnostics in obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Lebedev has performed more than 5500 operations for getting fetal material for prenatal diagnostics of chromosome diseases at different pregnancy terms.
