Cruiser Aurora

In the Nevka opposite the hotel «St.-Petersburg» you can see the famous cruiser Aurora, most renowned for the single blank shot marking the start of the October Revolution in 1927. It is less widely known, that the cruiser played a significant part during the Russian-Japan War in 1905. Now it is a museum: the exhibition of the museum is displayed in 6 halls and reveals the history of the cruiser Aurora, the participant of four wars and revolutionary events in Petrograd of 1917.
