Stroganov Palace
Stroganov Palace, one of the most famous monuments to the Russian baroque, is situated just within five minutes from our clinics. The Stroganovs were a family of wealth Russian merchants and manufacturers of the 18th -19th century. They were patrons of art, as well, and they have assembled an important part of today's Hermitage collection.
According to the legend one of their servants, the chef of the family, invented the famous Russian dish known as beef-stroganov.
Since 1988 a part of the collection of the Russian Museum has been placed here; recently the Museum of Wax statues and the Museum of chocolate have been opened as well.
